THE FRONTIER · SPEAK
Two languages. One conversation.
Sit together with a phone or tablet between you.
Each of you speaks your own language, and each of you can follow the other.
CONVERSATION
WHAT IT DOES
For two people in the same room who share no language: one speaks only Tibetan, the other only English. The phone between them listens, translates and speaks.
HOW IT WORKS
- Put the phone or tablet on the table between you.
- The screen splits in two, one half facing each of you.
- Hold your half and speak in your own language.
- Your words appear on the other half in their language, and the phone says them aloud.
- They answer the same way, and you hear them in yours.
Tibetan and English today. More languages are being worked on.
